Q: What is the dosage?

A: Consult with your healthcare practitioner, but the general recommendation is 500- 1,000mg per day. That is a maintenance dose

Q: How often should I take it?

A: Many people prefer to take it first thing after rising and some before bed. One serving is two squeezes of the dropper (half full), each one being 500mg. Because the pipette it is not graduated, make sure that the dropper is full of liquid roughly to the halfway mark. If it happens to fill up all the way, as it sometimes does, assume that as one full dose.

Q: How do I take it?

A: You can take CYMBIOTIKA™ on an empty stomach or with food.  It can also be used in salad dressings, smoothies or mixed into yogurt.

Q: Is it non-GMO, vegan, gluten free, mercury and radiation free?

A: Yes. CYMBIOTIKA™ is non-GMO and indoor grown, meaning that its separated from the pollution cycle. It starts pure and ends pure!

Q: How do I store it?

A: Store in a cool, dark place. Once the bottle is opened, the oxidation process begins and it is recommended to consume within a month. Although it is not required, storing opened bottles of Cymbiotika in the refrigerator will maximize flavor and freshness.

Q: What is CYMBIOTIKA flavored with?

A: We flavor with organic lemon oil, similar to an edible grade essential oil. It only makes up a small fraction of the formula, enough to offset the algae taste that many are not fond of.

Q: Why not take fish or krill oil?

A: Algae forms the base of the food chain of the entire planet. The fish and krill acquire their DHA from algae. Usually the sea animals (mussels, oysters, fish) would have to consume DHA and then transmute it into a form that is bio-available to us. The benefit of Cymbiotika™ is that not only is it the purest source of DHA on the planet, it is also the most potent due to the high bioavailability.

The microalgae used in Cymbiotika™ is 50% DHA by weight. Fish oil is about 25-30% DHA by weight. The main issue with fish oil is that it is often rancid by the time it gets to your kitchen cabinet. It is very sensitive to heat. Who knows how long it was sitting in a warehouse before it was delivered to the store shelf. The cheaper generic fish oils are guaranteed to be rancid. 

The second biggest issue is that the ocean is severely polluted. PCBs, dioxins, heavy metals such as mercury, parasites and ocean acidification all contribute to seafood contamination. Mercury is toxic to the nervous system even in homeopathic doses. 

Krill is a better option than fish, but still destructive to the environment. Smaller animals accumulate less mercury, plastics, synthetic chemicals etc. However they clean it up (molecular distillation), there will always be residues of toxins left over. The processing begins with a toxic sludge and the goal is to end with a clean product? That is not possible. Cymbiotika DHA starts pure and ends pure.

The big issue with krill is sustainability: we don't know what their population is. We're farming them at such exponential rates that we're taking them away from whales and animals that rely on them as their primary food source. If the krill run out in the ocean then we will lose the entire food chain. It is at that point that algae would be our optimal choice to keep our brain, eyes, heart, nervous system and reproductive organs healthy.

Q: How quickly is my order shipped, and what shipping options do you offer?

A: Orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hours (Mon-Fri only). We use USPS for all Domestic and International orders. You may choose USPS First Class, USPS Priority, or USPS Priority Mail Express at checkout. 

Q: What is your return policy?

A: You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, minus shipping charges.

A: There is an option to login to your account found at the top right of our website. If you are looking to edit/manage your subscription order, please login to your customer profile and select Manage Subscription. If you have an active subscription but you are having difficulty accessing your customer profile, it is possible you checked out as a guest when you placed your initial order, or you did not complete the account activation.
