Essential Takeaways
  • We reformulated our bestselling Liposomal Vitamin B12+B6 formula
  • We talk about Hydroxycobalamin, the added form of Vitamin B12
  • We discuss the formula’s improvements

Get excited: our bestselling Vitamin B12+B6 formula just got revamped!

At Cymbiotika, we constantly strive to innovate and improve our formulas to provide you with the best supplements possible. While our original formula already contains the two most bioactive forms of Vitamin B12, we wanted to add a third form to increase its efficiency and bioavailability.

The new form of Vitamin B12 is called Hydroxycobalamin, and we've added it to Methylcobalamin (along with Adenosylcobalamin). All three forms are extremely beneficial to the body and are the three most potent and bioavailable forms of Vitamin B12.

And hey–don't worry! Our Vitamin B12+B6 is still the supplement you know and love, just with an additional form of Vitamin B12.

All three forms are extremely beneficial to the body and are the three most potent and bioavailable forms of Vitamin B12.

What is Hydroxycobalamin?
Hydroxycobalamin is the additional form of Vitamin B12 we added to our formula. It is a precursor to Methylcobalamin, meaning one is converted into the other in metabolic reactions. It is the form most often used for people with difficulty absorbing Vitamin B12 in the gut.

Hydroxycobalamin, along with the other forms of Vitamin B12, promotes proper function of the nervous system, cellular energy production, and red blood cell function.

Hydroxycobalamin supports converting homocysteine to methionine. Homocysteine in elevated levels can be a toxic amino acid that can damage blood vessels and nerve cells in the body.

Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that keeps the body's blood and nerve cells healthy and also supports the body's ability to make DNA.

Do I need more Vitamin B12?
Vitamin B12 is essential in red blood cell production, nerve function, DNA production, mood, and heart and bone health.

Vegans, vegetarians, and people with conditions that affect their ability to absorb Vitamin B12 can greatly benefit from supplementing with B12, B6, or B9. Depletion of Vitamin B12 can make people feel tired and weak, increasing their need for a supplement for energy.

Depletion of Vitamin B12 can make people feel tired and weak and experience nervous system dysregulation.

Higher Bioavailability
Cymbiotika’s Liposomal Vitamin B12 + B6 supplement is an organic blend of Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin, the two most bioactive forms of Vitamin B12, as well as B6 in the form of Pyridoxine HCI.

Those with an MTHFR gene mutation have a reduced ability to convert folic acid or even folate into a usable form. Research estimates that half of the population may have an MTHFR gene.

Our folate is in the most bioactive L-methyl folate form, a critically important vitamin for those with a mutation in the MTHFR gene.

To treat vitamin B12 deficiency and further enhance absorption, we have encased these nutrients inside liposomes through revolutionary liposomal technology. Our Liposomal B12 L-Methylfolate dietary supplement is formulated to increase vitamin B for supported energy levels and improved cognitive function.

Same Great Taste
Our Liposomal Vitamin B12+6 supplement has raving reviews about its delicious flavor, and for good reason. Our formula has a syrup-like consistency and tastes like sweet berries. No wonder this is everyone's favorite daily supplement!

Pro-Tip: For even more energy and an improved mood, try pairing with Cymbiotika’s Vitamin D3+K2+CoQ10. This formula is a powerful antioxidant that supports a healthy immune system and a balanced mood.

We hope you love the new formula just as much as we do!

With love and gratitude,
Your Cymbiotika Family
