Liposomal NAD+
Promotes Healthy Aging

Trimethylglycine, also known as betaine, is a short-chain, neutral, amino acid derivative. Endogenously it is produced from the metabolism of choline and exogenously from dietary sources.
TMG functions in this formula to improve the efficiency of NAD+ recycling by promoting upregulation of the rate-limiting salvage pathway enzyme NAMPT and inhibition of NNMT, an enzyme that promotes the removal of NAD+ breakdown products from the cell rather than recycling. Furthermore due to its ability to be a methyl-group donor it may serve to reduce homocysteine levels supporting heart health.
Our formula takes a restorative approach using TMG to improve the efficiency of NAD+ recycling so that you can have and keep NAD+ in your body.
TMG can be found in wheat bread, wheat bran, wheat germ, fish, beets, spinach, shrimp and quinoa
TMG was the first betaine discovered. Originally, it was simply called betaine due to its discovery in sugar beets. Now, there are many other known betaines.
