Marine Cryptophytes Are Great Sources of EPA and DHA
EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid)

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is the predominant fatty acid found in sea vegetables.
EPA is an anti-inflammatory that supports many biological processes. It has been shown to improve the functioning of the epithelium (lining the inside of the heart). Low levels of this fatty acid in the blood are one of the largest risk factors for stroke or sudden blockage of arteries that supply the brain. In clinical research, EPA is proven more effective than DHA in treating mental disorders like depression.
Not all Omega products are created equal. We source the highest quality omega 3’s from algae (Schizochytrium) sourced in Nova Scotia, not fish. Fish oil often contains many other contaminants not listed on the label, along with hexanes and solvents used in processing. By doing this, we provide highly bioavailable omega 3’s in their purest form.
